Zoom Eastertide Worship: Heart of Norfolk Benefice

About sixty people joined us for the Zoom service on Sunday 26th April. The ‘gathering’ session prior to worship was slightly chaotic, with lots of people chatting, phones ringing and so on, but we settled down in our preparation to meet our Lord together.

Three people were able to join us by speaker-phone, which was wonderful. There’s a real sense of the Benefice coming together, as well as being able to welcome former residents who are able to join us through this technology. Poignantly, one of our number now lives in London: her daughter is working on the front-line in a COVID ward, which brings home to us the harsh reality of the situation we’re in and the devotion of NHS personnel throughout the country.

We’ll continue to hold regular Sunday services (10.30am) using Zoom. If you’d like to join us, please email Please note, your ‘device’ will need to be clearly recognizable – preferably by Christian Name/ Surname, as Zoom has upped its security settings, and I need to know who you are!
