COVID Measures

Lifting of Covid-restrictions: how this affects our churches

We still encourage the wearing of face-coverings whilst moving around our church buildings, which can be removed once sat. We can now sing in church again, as people feel comfortable and taking into account the size of the building, aerosol-spread and ventilation. Hand-sanitizer is available to use when entering and leaving our buildings. We all need to be careful still and take responsibility for our own welfare and that of others.

Holy Communion continues to be given in one kind only (host) until we can be confident again to share the ‘Common Cup’. We continue to discourage personal touch during Sharing the Peace. Refreshments can be served outdoors, or indoors with appropriate hygiene protection (e.g. servers wearing face-coverings and gloves).
