Oasis is a short lay-led service followed by a discussion over coffee on topics raised by the readings.on the first Sunday of the month.

The Churchyard work party meets again on Saturday (7^th August), 10am-midday. Our thanks to them for their work to make the churchyard, car park and church walk look so much tidier!

Credo Luncheon Club: Good news! Credo Lunches in the Methodist Centre Stibbard will resume on Thursday Sept 2nd at 12noon for 12.30. We have Pippa and Malcolm Cook to thank for offering to take over the cooking and organising and Marian Dugdale will continue providing her delicious desserts. We have no set price for the meal so your donations are very welcome which will help both the finances of both the Methodist Centre and All Saints Stibbard.

Credo has always been a happy social event with people from various villages and churches getting together to share a meal, so please feel free to join us, bring a friend everyone is welcome but do remember to book in each month.

Wood Norton Community Orchard invites you to WASSAIL!

Beat the January Blues and join us as we process to the orchard with torches and lanterns to ‘bless’ the trees to make them fruitful for the coming year. Bring drums, tambourines or just a spoon and a pan to frighten away the evil spirits!  Afterwards we’ll return to the village hall for warm refreshments.

Friday 21^st January at 7:30pm: Cine Pew - the screen at All Saints Church, Wood Norton, presents: A Midwinter’s Tale

A ‘thespian’ comedy directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring a hapless Michael Maloney as a desperate – and depressed - actor in search of a cast to perform Hamlet in a disused church on Christmas Eve. The idea is to rescue both his and the church’s fortunes, but the odd assemblage of actors and a lack of funds threaten the whole project.

Doors open at 7pm. Light refreshments. Bring your own cushions. There is no charge for this event.
