The Open the Book team will be restarting in both North Elmham and Stibbard schools. Open the Book is highly valued by the schools, and enables the children to envisage, enjoy and remember the stories re-enacted from the Bible. We have had an enquiry from the community primary school in Foulsham and we would absolutely love to be able to say yes to regular fortnightly visits, but unless we can recruit more team members, we will have to decline the invitation. This is a significant opportunity to share the Gospel in a school which currently has little Christian teaching.
What does it entail to be an OTB team member?
- Weekly rehearsal (1 hour); fortnightly (or monthly) school visit (1 hour).
- Age is not a barrier and you don’t need any previous experience! All you need is a clear speaking voice, a sense of humour, and the willingness to dress in costume (provided).
- DBS disclosure required.
